And what is the rt that runs from Montpelier down to about the rutland area with the waterfalls and all that stuff.

A great source of Vermont place names and their history from the perspective of post office records. Anyone who lives (or did live) in Vermont would enjoy reading the entries assembled in alphabetical order.
