I read this book because the author also wrote 'Last Night at the Viper Room' about the life and death of River Phoenix. Both works are crammed full of tidbits you may not find elsewhere which is great. This book, however, because it is a collection of answered questions about artists over time, lacks some of f the depth I craved. Overall, great stories on lots of different artists.

Great quick read! I skipped the questions & answers that had no relevance to me and read with relish the others. Fun trivial facts about music & it's makers. I'd recommend it to all who love music!

This book is a disappointment. I thought it would be better. Too many things I already knew. Just not as good as it could have been.

Some good stories. Maybe you already knew some of them. Could have been done better. But an OK read.

This is a very funny & insightfull book.

Very interesting stories & facts that covers a wide range of genres & decades. Good bathroom reading material.

Besides starting with a grammatical faux pas, the book was just OK. Some stories were interestingly bizarre and well-told, some not as much. Based on the buy-this-book-pitch, I figured it'd be slightly more compelling than it was.
I love music history and trivia. THis is a great easy read. Really enjoying it. I might even read it twice.
