Too often new books on architecture are missing a key feature - floor plans. A book is not a monograph without plans and architectural drawings.

Not to fear, as that is not the case here.

This book is a perfect blend of large, full-color photographs, architectural drawings, and information.

If you admire classical architecture, and want to know more about a little known modern master, then this is the book for you.

I loved this book. The homes are beautiful and since I love plans and renderings, I really appreciated those. Looking at houses without the plans leaves me feeling empty; this book did not.

A couple of the projects were not finished, so only the plans are included. I cannot wait to see the finished products some day--maybe in a future volume?

This was well worth the money.

Excellent review of this architects work but more importantly it gives a fresh view of classical interiors that are updated . Not cookie cutter stuff from HGTV but gracious living.

I love all the wonderful pictures of the homes and furnishings. It takes me back to wonderful times. I get many ideas on how to decorate my home.

Great content, including plans and renderings. Detailed descriptions of the programs of the various projects that drove the designs.

The book however was slightly damaged, a bit crushed on the bottom binding and a slightly ripped cover at that area, obviously will only get worse regardless of how carefully it is handled. I returned a previous book that had a center portion of the pages pulled away from the spine which would ultimately release completely so felt like I might be being too picky to send this very slightly damaged book back.

It took me some time to write this review, waiting to see if I would change my mind about this book. But I definitely did not like it. The photos in this book are the same ones you find on the architect's website, in fact, there is even more there. In the book, have the floor plans of almost all projects, but this alone does not save the book and the texts don't add anything ... The fact is that if I had had the opportunity to peruse the book before buying it, I would not have bought. I don't recommend this book.
