The late John Gerstner is highly thought of by RC Sproul and Ligonier Ministries sells audio lectures of the author of Primitive Theology. I have enjoyed listening to his series on the Westminster Catechism. His is the first work of his I have read and I plan to seek out more of his books. A nice overview to some fundamental doctrines. I especially enjoyed gerstner's approach to the doctrine of justification. Gerstner lacked the evidence to convince me of his ideas with his primer on free will but was consistent with the teachings of the reformed faith. Overall this book is not only a great read but a great reference tool for future use.
