They have a lot of information "in their heads," but they often still have the need for conversational practice that actively uses structures and vocabulary they have already studied.

Through creative exercises, brief summaries of grammar, and a carefully sequenced chapter structure, ¡De viva voz! helps instructors realize their principal goal in a conversation course: to see their students engaged in conversation in Spanish and improving their level of oral proficiency on a daily basis.

¡De viva voz! is an exciting new Spanish conversation text that focuses on the development of oral communication while providing a review of key grammatical structures in a very approachable and "non-threatening" manner. Intermediate students have generally had the equivalent of a first-year overview of the language and in many cases are in transition to third-year culture/literature courses.

Welcome to introductory conversational Spanish. Not only does this volume deal with more in depth speaking skills but it also covers many basic mechanics necessary fot the Spanish as a spoken language student.

The book came promptly. Just as promised it was slightly used, but I have no problem with highlighted text books. You can't beat the price!!!

Best explanations of grammar ever! Excellent review of Spanish with conversational exercises. An element of humor, which is rare in college textbooks.

Instead of receiving a audio CD with my book, I received a tape..... a tape. Tapes are great and all.... except I have no place to listen to it at school. Nothing else is wrong with the book, just having a tape is quite an inconvenience compared to a CD.
