I liked the communal nature of the spaces. Wonderful and enchanting! What a gem of a place to launch a day hike from. The lean-to is in front of a river which was very calming. The site was clean and well maintained. The John Brook Lodge had several useful foods: Clif bars, lemonade, coffee, it's a good idea!
