Grimms' Fairy Tales, originally known as the Children's and Household Tales (German: Kinder- und Hausmärchen, pronounced ), is a collection of fairy tales by the Grimm brothers or "Brothers Grimm", Jakob and Wilhelm, first published on 20 December 1812.

Hans in Luck is a classic children’s faerie tale from the Brothers Grimm. This is the story of Hans and his journey on his way home after working for seven hard years. Why did I choose this book to read? I have an app on my phone with all the Brothers Grimm stories on it and it was 1am, and I couldn’t sleep.

The Brothers Grimm Volume II: 110 Grimmer Fairy Tales (Word Cloud .

Only 9 left in stock (more on the way). The Brothers Grimm stories are so fun for people who were into fairytales as a kid and give the old stories a bit of a twist.

Hans breaks from old-school fairy-tale renderings as a contemporary character; he’s cute, comical and soulful. The Grimms Brothers fairy tale versions are usually too dark for my taste and they seem to revolve around justice and violence

Hans breaks from old-school fairy-tale renderings as a contemporary character; he’s cute, comical and soulful. Prickly, a bit funny and a bit dark: classic Grimm, modernized. Coombs’ adaptation is eloquent and intricate, while Nickle’s richly hued illustrations have a classic flavor and feature varied perspectives, silhouettes, inset cameos, and lighthearted flourishes, like Hans’ challenge in getting dressed. The Grimms Brothers fairy tale versions are usually too dark for my taste and they seem to revolve around justice and violence. I prefer stories that are uplifting and positive.

Fairy tale by The Brothers Grimm Hans lifted up the stone and carried it off with a contented mind

Fairy tale by The Brothers Grimm. Hans had served his master seven years, and at the end of the seventh year he said, "Master, my time is up; I want to go home and see my mother, so give me my wages. You have served me truly and faithfully," said the master; "as the service is, so must the wages be," and he gave him a lump of gold as big as his head. Hans lifted up the stone and carried it off with a contented mind. I must have been born under a lucky star!" cried he, while his eyes sparkled for joy. "I have only to wish for a thing and it is mine.

Brothers Grimm Fairy Tales. How can you ask?" answered Hans. I shall be the luckiest fellow on earth

Brothers Grimm Fairy Tales. Hans had served his master for seven years, so he said to him, "Master, my time is up. Now I would like to go back home to my mother. The master answered, "You have served me faithfully and honestly. As the service was, so shall the reward b. And he gave Hans a piece of gold as big as his head. I shall be the luckiest fellow on earth. If I have money whenever I put my hand in my pocket, why should I ever worry again?" And he handed him the goose and received the grindstone in exchange.
