David Thomas Lord is a fiction writer, mostly in the horror genre. I think it's a shame that Lee Thomas has never read BOUND IN BLOOD, BOUND IN FLESH or TRIPTYCH OF TERROR. Most of his work has been nominated for literary awards. Still, how many lists can one be on? David Thomas Lord. 22 Temmuz 2014 ·. I never realized how difficult it would be to write a 2000 year-old memoir. There are so many words I can't use because they weren't in usage at the time. I'm even having trouble with punctuation since it was rare in writing at time.

This book is so bad I can't get past page 22. I have tried and tried but I can't do it. I have read several books with weird premises (sci-fi fan) but this one is just too ridiculous. This book is going in the trash. I will never read anything from this author...the writing style is not for me. I should sue for pain and suffering. Skip this one. Try the author Sunny instead.

This book, similar in ilk, surpasses its predecessor. To set first-comers expectations, please see the lot of Bound in Blood reviews.

There is an *unmistakeable* leap forward in quality of writing here -- I could have written the first book, but not this -- and an equally unmistakeable lapse in quality of editing. It's not grammar, as another review bemoans, but density of prose that makes for occasional discomfort.

Your life won't change, but enjoy. And enjoy the growth of true talent. Congratulations!

I really wanted to like it, there were moments, but all in all, didn't even finish it.
I thought this book had potential so I stuck with it. After the first 25 pages or so it got slightly better, but that was pretty much it. This book is like a secular Easter egg hunt. Buried in it’s ‘zillions’ of words are the few that matter.

The book is detailed, overwhelming. I thought at first it was a reflection on the narcissism that the book claims that vampires get. No detail too small is left out. But its’ the wrong details – I know more about some of the people that the vampires ‘ate’ than I do about the main characters. There will be pages on how a primary character dresses, but nothing on how they think.

The coup de grâce was the ending. I thought it was not good. The worst choice among many possibilities.

The book is about gay vampires. They kill people. They have sex. It’s not really an erotic book as much it is a book about power and control.
