I do love secondhand books that open to the page some previous owner read oftenest. Why don’t you send us a snapshot? We should love to have it. Why did the chicken cross the road?" is a common riddle joke, with the answer being "To get to the other side". It is an example of anti-humor, in that the curious setup of the joke leads the listener to expect a traditional punchline, but they are instead given a simple statement of fact. Why did the chicken cross the road?" has become iconic as an exemplary generic joke to which most people know the answer, and has been repeated and changed numerous times over the course of history.

I bought this book for my granddaughter because when her mom was little it was her favorite book. I knew it was a used book but the description said nothing about it having writing on the inside cover. That was very disappointing to see :(

I love this simple little book. The illustrations are delightful. The big eyed, preschool-aged bunny is introduced and shows us what all his favorite things are from mommy, daddy and little brother to making cake, running around a tree and getting piggy-back rides. I love reading this positive little book to my three little ones and now they 'read-it' back to me. A must have for preschoolers and a great gift for any new parents too.
