God has a plan for everything. And to illustrate His plan, Allia Zobel Nolan tells the story, in rhyme, of an acorn that grows into a mighty oak tree. The book's layout is unusual and I can't even describe it. I will just say that there is an illustration of an acorn and when you turn the pages, a bit of the acorn disappears and part of the oak tree appears in its place, until all you see is the mighty oak tree.

The spring caterpillar that goes from page to page is so fun for kids. And the pop-up butterfly on the last page is my daughter's personal favorite. Great message too!

My kids love the pop up feature of this book, high quality, durable, vibrant, a great message and such a sweet story.

My grandma got this beautiful book for my baby and I have been searching for more. The story is almost like a "Lord's Prayer" for little children, but the message is for us all. The little caterpillar goes about his regular business trusting in God completely, and God's plan proves trustworthy. My baby loves the springy caterpillar that moves thru the holes in the book, and the illustration is just gorgeous.

This book is a favorite of my 1 year old. The story and rhymes are just the right length for a short attention span. The illustrations are beautiful, and the layout is very creative with a fabric bug spanning the pages. Highly recommend.

I LOVE this book! I am a 30-something year old who admittedly owns this book. I read it every few months (sometimes more when I need a pick-me-up or reminder of God's goodness and provision)and share it with all of my friends - GREAT message for anyone and everyone. I am a usually a very generous person, but when reading this to kids, I make sure and tell them it is mine and I can't give it to them. I'm afraid they will ask and I won't be able to part with it! Therefore...I am out here looking to buy some more copies that I CAN share.
