Robbin Cuddy's darkly-coloured, night time aura, dramatic drawings are this book's jewel

Robbin Cuddy's darkly-coloured, night time aura, dramatic drawings are this book's jewel. I wasn't swept away with Bruce Talkington's adaptation; perhaps because the dialogue and action are clearly intended for old time slapstick humour, more than the flow and ingredients of a veritable storybook. When I read about him, I saw that Bruce worked on Winnie-The-Pooh television shows. Perhaps that is whence Boo To You, Winnie-The-Pooh! came. Worse than sensing a screenwriter's visual habits are afoot, is an out-and-out transcript shrunk into a book. It is never funny for.

This is one Halloween book I wouldn't mind reading over and over again. In typical Disney style, the Hundered Acre Woods residents embark on their yearly trick or treating expidition, with Pooh's main concern about where his next bit of honey is going to come from, Eeyore having a little trouble with his costume and Tigger bouncing off the walls with too much energy. The book starts off with the group coming together before the Halloween festivies are about to begin and takes the reader through one misadventure after another. The ending is as endearing as the characters themselves. One charming little book.

Will not ever buy from this seller again!.. Bought this as a gift for a baby shower so obviously I would want new. When I received the book in the mail, the cover was worn, and a page was torn. The only reason it actually got 2 stars is because it is a cute Disney book. But do be aware of this seller because New means Used.

The classic characters come to life in this Halloween story. All the favorites are here and they haven't really changed. Winnie the Pooh still is a bear of little brain who loves honey so much he would do just about anything for a smackerel or two. Piglet is still very timid and the other characters are just as fun.

It has lengthy dialogue and lots of text which made me assume my three year old would be too young for it but she really enjoyed listening to the book as it was read to her and the detailed pictures not only kept her attention but gave her plenty to look at while I was reading aloud to her.

A very good book with good friends that stick together despite whatever obstacles or adventures they face. My three year old loved it but this book would be good for all ages.

Pooh and his friends were having a best costume contest. Pooh started to trick or treat the honeybees and they started chasing them. They ran and finally got away from them. I think this is a good story for kids to read it teaches you how friends will always stick together no matter what through everything. They wont leave you behind ever or make you feel left out. Rabbit said he didn't like halloween. Piglet didn't have a costume. Piglet stayed in his house because he was frightened of halloween, so Pooh arrived at his house and visited him. Pooh was in trouble, and Piglet had to save him if he was afraid or not, because his friend was in trouble so he came out and tryed helping him and scared everyone. Everyone collided. Pooh said Piglet saved them all, they all gathered. Piglet said he went as Pooh's very best and very bravest bestfriend for halloween!
