My 9 year old LOVED this book and it's gotten him reading more, he can't wait for the next one to come out, similar to the Dairy books, this is super for the young readers and gets them into books. Rachel Russell is an amazing writer for young readers, MORE please!!!

My 10yr old daughter,11yr old son and 13 yrs old daughter all loved this book. It was originally for my son but he was laughing through it so the girls both read it as well. It took them about 2 days each to read it so pretty easy readread and plus they didnt want to put it down! They can't wait for the 2nd book. My kids also read diary of a wimpy kid, mine craft, and dork diaries series. They said this is similar in that it's not too difficult and funny.

My son loved this book. It was an easy, summer read. His only concern was how long he will have to wait for the next book in this series to come out. If your kids are fans of Diary of a Wimpy Kid type stories, this will be right up their alley.

My 7 year old came home and asked to use his birthday money to order this right away as he couldn't stand the cliff hanger at the end of the 1st book. As soon as it arrived in the mail he opened it up and got to work reading it. We found out in the morning that even though he tried to go to sleep at bed time he just couldn't so he stayed up and finished it that night! Thank goodness it was summer vacation ;)
It was a fun read with my 9yo son. Maybe a little repetitive, but fun. Now he wants to read the third installment, but I don't think it exists yet - bummer!
