A Novel of Discworld® There were tiny fields, like a patchwork quilt thrown across the rocks.

A Novel of Discworld®. It shot out of the canyon at the top of a cliff, where meltwater from a glacier plunged down into a distant pool. Against all reason there was a valley here, or a network of valleys, clinging to the edge of the mountains before the long fall to the plains. A small lake gleamed in the warmer air. There were forests. There were tiny fields, like a patchwork quilt thrown across the rocks.

Another great book by Sally Terry. I have three books by her, and Amazon keeps asking me to sell them back, but I won't. Lots of good step-by-step information on how to plan out sections of your quilt and how to achieve the type of quilting you want to place there. Definately a great workbook style reference for your library. I refer to it when planning my quilting.

Great to get ideas for your quilt tops, very easy to follow and great to get going. The ideas/ instructions re not complicated. I love taking my new quilting books with me when we are traveling and I read them like a magazine.

This book was not what I expected. It is more targeted at the Long-arm Quilting Machine, which I did not fore-see. I only have a Domestic Sewing Machine.

I have given the book to a friend, who is able to make use of it.

I've been a longarm quilter for over 10 years and help new owners learn how to use their machines. This book is now added to my 'Recommended Reading List'.

This book seems to be more geared to long arm work rather than domestic short arm, but I did pick up a few useful tips for my short arm. Sally Terry is a quilter's guru and if you have a long arm, this book would be a "must have" for you. If all your quilting is done on a short arm, you may want to pass on this one.

Excellent book Learned some new stuff!

Although I usually love Terry's books, this one was a little disappointing. The title led me to believe it was about quilting and how to do it, but it seemed it was directed primarily at longarm quilters. There were pages and pages of how to set up a quilt on a longarm machine. Not having one, it didn't help me much. I also found some illustrations confusing. The most interesting part, Shadowplay was so confusing I still don't get it.
Sally Terry has done it again. A wonderful book especially for the beginning quilter but any level will appreciate this publication. Highly recommended.
