Silva, Linda Kay. Some of the changes were subtle, while others were quite distinctive. Physically, I was taller, now nearly five feet eight. I had sprouted three inches in as many years. I had really filled out from. all of the manual labor required of us: chopping wood, repairing the dock, schlepping garbage here and there. All of it kept me slim and tight, and I liked that feeling. My hair was well beyond my shoulders, and all the outdoor sun had changed it from mousy brown to a golden honey. I had also taken and passed my GED, which was a requirement of all of us. It was embarrassingly.

Enjoyed the story line and the development of the characters. Felt sad for Echo in the end. Looking forward to the next chapter of Echo's life.

Love these characters

too esoteric for me. book is well written but deals with fantasy too much. it is a good general read if you can deal with fantasy. basically it was not my read but others may find it very good.

"I have an inoperable brain tumor." Those six words were like the whip of a cat-o'-nine tails against my heart, and I kept hearing them over and over again. My mentor, Melika, was dying, and it felt like a piece of me was now dying right alongside her. This book starts off gripping and fast paced and just keeps on going. I could not put it down ...another great story from Linda. Thank you.

I love all things Echo Branson (well, all four of the published novels that is), so I was excited to read Frozen Echo. I wouldn't say it's my favorite out of the current four, but it's hard to really determine which book is better than the rest. What can I really say? If you haven't read More Than an Echo, get it in your hands ASAP and keep reading the rest of the series. You'll be glad you did. You got supernatural powers, love, diverse settings, ass-kicking, and loyal friends. I can't wait for the next one.

I love the series and have followed from the beginning. Buy them! Read them! Love them! However, I would make one minor change. There tends to be a lot , and I mean a lot of detailed recap. We don't need that. If you haven't read the early books, go back and read them in order. Linda, keep writing please!!! Just remember that those of us who are tagging along behind you, picking up anything you write-we don't need the deep revisiting. We'd prefer you fill the pages with your new adventures and continuing character development. Thank you so much for sharing your gift.

Great series & hard to put down!
In this newest addition to the Echo series Echo and her friends kick ass (and a lot of it) and take names in Alaska. Lots of action, more insights in the workings of the paranormal world and all around enjoyable. I love that we get glimpses of Storm and the veterans added by this angle are great characters - hopefully we'll here more about Gar.
