The historical facts in this book are accurate and arranged in chronological order. I am wondering if I received an uneditied copy. There are many misspelled words, incomplete sentences, misplaced words, and the most frustrating thing is the leaving out of words in a sentence. It leaves you guessing as to what the author was trying to convey. I am amazed that a book could be published with so many grammatical and writing errors.

Please be advised that this version of Kingdom Of The Hollow released in 2006 has many editing errors, which have subsequently been corrected in the 2011 version. The new, vastly improved version is now available through Lulu Publishing and will soon be available here at Amazon.com.

Phillip Hardy simply took all the stereotypes of the Appalachian people, and combined them to write this historically inaccurate- and poorly written- book. Oh... and add poorly composed. The author obviously has no problem with literary prostitution to get his name in print. Shame on him!

I'd write a real review, but truly, there are not enough words to describe the ridiculous content. Mr. Hardy- if you insist on writing, I would suggest contacting Marvel Comics. They're the ones who promote super-hype fiction.
