I was pleasantly surprised to find this book on Amazon to read because my mother had read this book before I was born and named me after a character in the book. It was nice to read about the character and why she picked this name for me years ago.
Set in the wilds of the Yukon during the gold rush. Local lass Necia Gale is the daughter of the town's white trader and his Indian common-law wife. French Canadian Poleon Doret loves and accepts Necia for who she is, so naturally she doesn't want him. Lt. Meade Burrell is attracted to the underage girl but he can't look past his own prejudices at her being a "half breed", so of course he's the one Necia pines for.
This book, as all books by R.B. Thieme Jr. is an incredible book by an amazing man. But there should be no price on this book as he never puts a price on any of his study materials as that is incompatible with grace. All of his books and audio materials are available free of charge by writing to

R.B. Thieme, Jr. Bible Ministries

P.O. Box 460829

Houston, Texas 77056-8829

and requesting a catalog.
It is wrong to sell these books! The author has always made them available FREE OF CHARGE and anyone can order any of R.B.Thieme Jr.s books anytime free of charge and free of shipping by contacting R.B. Thieme Jr. Bible ministries at: [...]You may call, order on line, etc. He did not believe in charging for the Word of God and it is a disgrace to his memory to do so! I highly reccommend his books. He was one of the great pastor-teachers of the church age and one of a kind.
