Process of Elimination book. This marks a more ambitious and fulfilling effort by author Robert Stricklin, whose previous novel, "A Necessary Evil," was a nifty though modest crime thriller with a Hitchcock vibe. Air Force Two has gone down. Highly recommended - whether you're a political junkie or just a cynical observor of Beltway and corporate shenanigans.

From the first few lines to the last words of the book, Process of Elimination is a page-turner. In addition to the intriguing plot, I found myself captivated by the diverse and interesting line up of characters Stricklin presents - each with their own unique story and perspective.

Some writers give you great plot with two-dimensional characters; some breathe life into vividly shining characters but give them a poor plot for their performance ... yet Stricklin serves up the best of both worlds. In this book you'll find characters you want to know and a story that captivates. I can't wait for his next book!

If you're interested in stories of intrigue, and the inner-workings of the White House, this book is sure to please.

After the Vice Presidents we've had in the past few administrations, I normally wouldn't give a hoot about their plane going down. But in Process of Elimination, the author gave it a unique twist and actually made me care about the President's plight.

You don't have to be political junkie to enjoy Process of Elimination. That's because you'll find distinctive characters with a plot packed with clues that leave you guessing and begging for more.

For a good beach book ... it's a heck of a buy!

Robert Stricklin emerges as a new star in the political thriller stratosphere with Process of Elimination. Cleverly written; this riveting tale of sabotage, conspiracy and intrigue sheds new light on the seemingly very dangerous game of politics and influence from the first page all the way to the very satisfying ending.

The cover of Process of Elimination caught my eye-- the White House front and center as the target through the scope of a rifle. This time you CAN judge a book by its cover-POE is an excellent suspense novel. Robert Stricklin plots this novel so expertly that I was fascinated from the death of the Vice President in Chapter 1 to the very last sentence of the book. The Constitution outlines 2 duties of the VP-President of the Senate and assuming the Presidency when there is a vacancy. Stricklin has taken the second duty and created a novel of political conspiracy and greed. The characters, both main and supporting, are fully developed. I found myself rooting for some yet despising the rest. Their political antics and deceptions created such good reading that I couldn't put the book down. Isn't that goal of any good suspense novel? I am definitely looking forward to Stricklin's next book.

As far as I'm concerned, political thrillers - like most politicians - are a dime a dozen. But I'm pleased to say that "Process of Elimination" is a diamond in the rough - brilliantly conceived and expertly executed.

The thrills are of the cat-and-mouse variety as opposed to outlandish action, although there's enough intrigue and mayhem to satisfy the Bourne and Jack Ryan crowd and the book's haunting message about the decline and fall of American values truly resonates. Loved it.

It's been awhile since I've read a thriller - particularly one dealing with political brinksmanship - that I thoroughly enjoyed. But this tale of greed, conspiracy and betrayal had me transfixed from beginning to end. The plot was highly conceivable, the themes thought-provoking and the characters quite credible. That's not too much to ask, is it? Happily, "Process of Elimination" delivered these personal prerequisites in spades. I highly recommend it.

A timely read, with thinly disguised politicos and a plot that twists in surprising ways. Crooked politicians, home-grown terrorists, shadowy figures, powerful behind-the-scenes men. It's all there.
As with this author's previous book, libraries are once again being sent fake "purchase requests" from nonexistent patrons. Hint to Mr. Stricklin: If you can't do better than the pathetically contrived wording in these spam "requests," then it's clear why self-publication is your only outlet.
