We started innocent in 1999 after selling our smoothies at a music festival. The book of the story of the drinks.

We started innocent in 1999 after selling our smoothies at a music festival. We put up a big sign asking people if they thought we should give up our jobs to make smoothies, and put a bin saying 'Yes' and a bin saying 'No" in front of the stall. Then we got people to vote with their empties. At the end of the weekend, the 'Yes' bin was full, so we resigned from our jobs the next day and got cracking. The seal of approval.

A juicing book with a difference, which tells you how to make fresh and delicious drinks whether you’ve just got to work, are sitting on the couch on a Sunday afternoon or want to impress your friends by making bright green Martinis. In 1999, Rich, Jon and Adam tested out their juices on the public at a little jazz festival. When their customers unanimously voted they should go into business, ‘innocent ltd’ (ltd stands for ‘little tasty drinks’) was born. They are now the producers of the nation’s favourite smoothies (according to the BBC, The Times and others).

So you all want to know what little ol’ me has been up to? All in good time, kiddies. A deck light came on. He could make out Cynthia huddled against the cold. How the gods have fallen. Davis would have to answer to his pretty little fiancée when they got back to Marin. Maybe the honeymoon was over-before the wedding even took place. And Dick and Millie, at opposite ends of the room, avoided each other’s eyes.

Innocent Drinks is a company that makes smoothies and juice sold in supermarkets, coffee shops and various other outlets. The company sells more than two million smoothies per week. Innocent is over 90% owned by The Coca-Cola Company. Innocent Drinks was founded by three Cambridge University graduates: Richard Reed, Adam Balon and Jon Wright, then working in consulting and advertising. The three were friends at St John's College, Cambridge.

A juicing book with a difference, which tells you how to make fresh and delicious drinks whether you've just got to work, are sitting on the couch on a Sunday afternoon or want to impress your friends by making bright green Martinis. In 1999, Rich, Jon and Adam tested out their juices on the public at a little jazz festival. When their customers unanimously voted they should go into business, "innocent ltd" (ltd stands for "little tasty drinks") was born. They are now the producers of the nation's favourite smoothies (according to the BBC, "The Times" and others). This book doesn't assume that you've juiced before, and contains tips on equipment, how to choose and store your fruit and veg and the science behind why juice is good for you. The book was written with the help of Professor Joe Millward, Director of the Centre for Food Safety and Nutrition. And while it also provides extensive nutritional information on the benefits of eating plenty of fruit and veg, it won't bore you with facts and figures and it won't urge you to go on a 3-week juice fast. The easy-to-follow recipes are tailored to people's lives. Divided into three sections - work, rest and play - the book features recipes which will prevent you from stapling your fingers together, drinks to pamper and comfort, and healthy cocktails to make you tipsy without giving you a hangover. Along the way the book answers questions on such things as seasonal ingredients, alcohol, organic produce, bio yoghurt and all fruit and veg imaginable.

I love drinking innocent smoothies when I am in London and was delighted to find this book. It's a fun read with some unique smoothie recipes to mix up our morning smoothie routine. Some of the recipes suggest juicing apples and then using that juice in your smoothie but I generally just threw the whole apple in the Vitamix with the rest of the ingredients and added a little extra water - too lazy to clean the juicer for such small quantities.

I use it almost every single day :) they taste just like the smoothies you buy (not where i live :( ), and the ones I've tried yield exactly one serving (one tall glass) which is great. the blueberry-pomegranate one is my fav.

Innocent Drinks, a very successful British smoothie business, sold to Coca Cola in 2013, published this cookbook in 2002. The writing style is exactly like their advertising and twitter tone -- funny, informal, friendly, and conversational. The idea was talk to the consumer like you’d talk to your friends (but without meanness or swear words). The book has good recipes for all ages, wonderful illustrations and photographs, and a place to write your own recipes and notes.
