BLOOD EVIDENCE: A Story of True Crime in the Suburban South. In the early morning hours of March 31, 1980, someone killed Kathleen Graham with a sledgehammer in her Shreveport, L. home. Her husband, who was in the bedroom with her at the time, displayed no emotion over his wife's murder. Graham, who was convicted of second-degree murder, has been in prison for almost 10 years now, never wavering in his story. The prosecution had a case, of course, primarily bloodstains and other circumstantial evidence. But what really convicted him, Mr. Lewis contends, was Mr. Graham's demeanor.

This was a very interesting book, I lived 25 years about 6 houses from the Grahams' home. There are still roomers about 'who dunn'it'. The seller described the book correctly and shipping was expeditiously. It is a book to hold on to.

Blood Evidence should be placed in all law libraries to learn from...not an ounce of excitement in the entire book. Lewis Graham was a laid back, kinda guy..soft spoken, man of few words, with a Phd in Science working and teaching at the LSU Medical Center in Shreveport,LA (my hometown)........the most exciting thing he ever did in his life was to have a short-term affair with a co-worker..which surprised me..I still don't know if Lew did the dirty deed or not, maybe you do. Lew was both the victim and defendant in this story.. If you're looking for intrigue, don't bother, but if you would like to know how a homicide is handled from start to finish, this is the book for you..
Easy as pie, arrived in a good amount of time. So glad I was able to find this book, had been looking for it in local bookstores, but no luck. The crime took place in my hometown and I had read the book years ago, but had wanted to read it again as I had recently had a conversation about this case.
