I never knew that I had a cousin like Joe....and I'm thankful for him! I've heard my mother and her family talk about these stories for years, but I'd never heard them intertwine and weave the tapestry of my heratage like Joe has done! I like the fact that I can pick up "Potato Branch" and "see" my family any time I want. Oh, and if you're from the area, it's called "Tater' Branch." It's a fun, sad roller coaster of emotions for me.....as for everyone who reads it. ENJOY!

I met Joe Morgan in the middle of a two day driving rainstorm as I hiked the appalachian trial. Joe took me for a ride with an oral history showing me places in his book. I look forward to fleshing out the visual with the written word as I have ordered the book.
