I thought this book was well written, easy to follow and a tremendous help with new ideas for prayer. The exercises are very good. It has been a meaningful study.

This is one of a number of follow up studies to the basic Companions in Christ
Study. Which I was privileged to do with a
Group of 10 women from my church. It is
a very rich study which seeks the leading of the Holy Spirit. We plan to do the prayer study this fall.

This is an introduction to a number of methods for prayer including some that I would not have thought of. It's an easy read, and each chapter/prayer method has 4-5 exercises to try for a week. I'm using it in a group discussion which enhances the book. If I were reading it alone I might rate it with less enthusiasm.

Especially with a group, this is a very interesting book, easy to read, harder to do. Gives many opportunities to experience prayer.
